Solution:

1) Create new file system log logical volume as jfs2log
testserver:/ # mklv -t jfs2log -y loglv01 oraclevg 1
loglv01
testserver:/ #

Syntax: mklv -t jfs2log -y <lvname> <VGname> 1

2) Format the log using logform

testserver:/ # logform -V jfs2 /dev/loglv01
logform: destroy /dev/rloglv01 (y)?y
testserver:/ #

Syntax: /usr/sbin/logform -V <vfstype> </dev/lvname>

3) Create a filesystem with specific log logical volume

testserver:/ # crfs -v jfs2 -a log=/dev/loglv01 -d /dev/oraclelv -m /u01/app/oracle -A yes
File system created successfully.
26213396 kilobytes total disk space.
