Scenario 1:

Just change your .toc file using vi editor

 

vi .toc

:%s/1044/1115/g

:wq!

Syntax:

vi .toc

:%s/old value/new value/g

 

OR

perl -pi -e 's/1044/1115/g' .toc

Step 2: Take the ODM backup

tar -cvf /home/testuser/odm.tar /etc/objrepos /usr/lib/objrepos

Step 3: For removing entries

odmdelete -q name=bos.net.nfs.client -o lpp
odmdelete -q lpp_name=bos.net.nfs.client -o product
odmdelete -q lpp_id=”531″ -o history
odmdelete -q lpp_id=”531″ -o inventory
